Auto insurance rates in Albania will undergo reform in upcoming months and they will be depending on factors related to the degree of vulnerability for an accident, Top Channel reported on Tuesday referring to Albania's Financial Supervisory Authority.

Thus, insurance premiums in Albania will no longer be offered at a fixed-rate but will vary depending on the geographic area, the age of the insured, the make and model of the vehicle, as well as accident history. The reform is being carried out with the assistance of the World Bank.
