5 June 2019 — Andrei Victor
AON announced that Peter LIEB is retiring from the firm after ten distinguished years of service as Executive Vice President and General Counsel.

As AON's General Counsel, Peter LIEB led the firm's Global Law Department and managed legal, compliance, regulatory and public affairs for AON. He also served as company secretary since 2013.

Peter LIEB will continue to serve as General Counsel while a search is conducted for his replacement and then remain as an advisor to the firm.

"Peter has had a distinguished 37-year legal career spanning the public and private sectors and we are grateful for his 10 years of service at AON," said Greg CASE, Chief Executive Officer of Aon.

"I want to recognize him for his exceptional leadership and thank him for the outstanding team he has built. Peter's contributions have further strengthened our firm and we wish him the best as he begins a new chapter."

"It has been a privilege to serve my colleagues at AON over the last ten years," said Peter Lieb.

"After almost 25 years in the private sector, working primarily as an in-house corporate lawyer, I'm energized by the idea of using my legal skills to give back to our community in new and different ways. I have every confidence in our leadership team and the direction of the firm, making this an ideal time to transition my responsibilities."
