ARMENIA: Six insurers collect 12.9 billion drams for mandatory car insurance in 3Q

Six Armenia-based insurance companies collected a total of 12.9 billion drams of premiums for mandatory car insurance in the third quarter of 2016, and paid 6 billion drams in damage compensation claims, according to ARKA news agency's third quarter bulletin "Insurance Companies of Armenia."

According to the bulletin, the insurance companies collected a total of 23.2 billion drams in all types of insurance premiums and paid 10.1 billion drams in damage compensation claims.

The leading company in terms of collected premiums for mandatory insurance of vehicles WAS Rosgosstrakh-Armenia - 3.790.9 billion drams.
