ARMENIA: Yerevan to host InsureTek Armenia 2026 international forum

The first-ever InsureTek Armenia 2026 international forum will be held in Yerevan on June 4, initiated and organized by the Armenian Motor Insurers' Bureau. The forum aims to position Armenia as a regional hub for professional dialogue and innovative collaboration in the insurance sector, ArmInfo reports, citing a statement from the Bureau.

In anticipation of the forum, the Armenian Motor Insurers' Bureau (AMIB) and the international organization GAIP (Global Association of InsurTech Professionals) signed a cooperation agreement on May 11 to launch a new international platform for insurance and insurtech in Armenia.

"For the Armenian Motor Insurers' Bureau, it is crucial not only to support the ongoing development of the insurance system but also to bring international experience, technological innovations, and the best industry solutions to Armenia. InsureTek Armenia 2026 is the Bureau's strategic initiative, through which we are creating a new platform for international cooperation and stimulating integration of the Armenian insurance market into global processes", the Bureau noted, emphasizing importance of the Central Bank of Armenia's strategic support, as well as involvement and collaboration of the Bureau's member insurance companies in organizing and hosting InsureTek Armenia 2026.

Aftab Hasan, Founder and Chairman of GAIP, in turn, praised the Armenian Motor Insurers' Bureau's initiative in organizing the international forum in Armenia. "The Armenian Motor Insurers' Bureau stands out in the region as a leading and forward-looking organization that not only responds to changes in the industry but also sets a new agenda for cooperation. We are confident that InsureTek Armenia 2026 will become an important international platform, bringing together leading industry players and stimulating innovation in the region", emphasized Aftab Hasan.

The InsureTek Armenia 2026 International Forum will bring together leading insurance experts, regulators, and insurtech innovators to discuss current industry trends, digital transformation opportunities, and the future of insurance, the source added.
