From January to September 2021, the volume of taxes paid by Armenian insurers amounted to AMD 2.1 billion (~EUR 3.73 million*), which is 31.3% more y-o-y, ArmInfo reports. Of this amount, AMD 1.8 billion fell on direct taxes (+28.6%).

According to the State Revenue Committee of Armenia, for the first 9 months of 2021 only RESO was not included in the list of 1000 largest taxpayers in Armenia out of the operating 6 insurance companies (as in the previous year).

At the same time, the list of insurance companies in terms of tax payments was headed by INGO Armenia (265th place vs 292nd a year earlier), which paid AMD 595.4 million to the state budget. It is followed by ROSGOSSTRAKH Armenia from the insurers (312th position vs 231st a year earlier), having paid AMD 523.6 million to the state budget. The third place among insurance companies belongs to NAIRI Insurance.

In the total volume of tax payments of 1000 large taxpayers, the share of the insurance sector did not change y-o-y, amounting to only 0.2%.
