ARMENIA to have export insurance company

An export financing insurance company needs to be established in Armenia. To this end, a working team comprising fifteen members will be set up at the Ministry of Economy. The members will receive a monthly salary of 500,000 drams (approx. USD 1,230), and they will be responsible for all the preparations toward founding this insurance company.   

And to bring this project to fruition, the Ministry asked for 41,300,000 drams (approx. USD 101,425) from the Government of Armenia.

The respective draft decision is included in the agenda of Thursday's Cabinet meeting.
