AXA's FY2018 revenue rises 4% y-o-y to EUR 102.87 billion

French insurer AXA announced its 2018 gross revenues have crossed the EUR 100 million border reaching EUR 102.87billion (vs.EUR 98.55 billion in 2017) while the year-end net income compressed two-thirds to EUR 2.14 biliion.

According to FY18 key highlights published by the French insurer, of total revenues, about EUR 50.06 billion was accounted by Life and Savings LoBs, about EUR 35.32 billion - property casualty, and EUR 13.06 billion - Health.

Per regions, France generated about EUR 25.17 billion of total FY2018 revenues. Outside France, the largest shares in terms of revenues were accounted by the following regions: Europe (EUR 36.73 billion), United States (EUR 16.46 billion), Asia (EUR 8.97 billion) and other International markets - EUR 6.53 billion.

"AXA delivered another year of strong operating performance with a 6% increase in underlying earnings, to its highest ever reported level, even with a reduced ownership of AXA Equitable Holdings, Inc. and an unusually severe fourth quarter in terms of natural catastrophes", said Thomas BUBERL, Chief Executive Officer of AXA.
