AZERBAIJAN: ALFA Insurance plans to expand its business in 2013

ALFA Insurance does not intend to dwell on its phenomenal results of 2012.

Insurance company's chairman of board Elshad Aliyev says that they expect to exceed in 2013 those wonderful for their business results that have been achieved last year.

"For this, we have to solve a number of priority tasks. First, in February we have to undergo the procedure of renewal of license for insurance activity. The company is expected to receive a termless general license. After that, we can apply for the restoration of our permission for mandatory insurance of vehicle owner, and complete the process of re-branding," Aliyev said.

The State Insurance Supervision Service under the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan says that last year the Company received more than 5.3 million premiums and paid compensation payments for AZN 1.135 million.
