AZERBAIJAN: Almost half million agreements on compulsory types of insurance signed in first six month of 2013

The members of the Compulsory Insurance Bureau in Azerbaijan collected around 39.339 million manat on about 498,884 agreements on four types of insurance regulated by the Bureau in the first six months of 2013, the official website of the Bureau reported on Monday.

The Compulsory Insurance Bureau has been established within the law on compulsory types of insurance. This law began to be used by the insurance companies on December 16, 2011. The law regulates the compulsory liability insurance of vehicle owners, compulsory insurance of real estate, compulsory liability insurance for the operation of real estate and the compulsory insurance of passengers.
