In 2024, 468 Green Card insurance cases were recorded in Azerbaijan, and the total amount of payments reached AZN 2.5 million (~EUR 1.41 million), as stated by the Chief Information Manager of the Compulsory Insurance Bureau (CIB) Anar Samedov during his speech at the Azerbaijan Financial Forum, Trend writes.

Anar Samedov noted that the total number of Green Card contracts last year amounted to 50,207, and the total amount of collected GWP reached AZN 7.2 million (~EUR 4.06 million).

In Azerbaijan, 314 Green Card insurance cases were recorded, paid claims amounted to AZN 1.2 million. 40,038 contracts were concluded, and insurers collected AZN 2.5 million under them.

Abroad, 154 Green Card insurance cases were recorded, and AZN 1.2 million were paid. 10,169 insurance contracts were concluded, under which local insurers collected AZN 4.7 million, explained the Chief Information Manager of CIB.
