AZERBAIJAN: from January to October, compulsory state social insurance increased by 18.4%

From January to October 2022, compulsory state social insurance in Azerbaijan amounted to about AZN 3.7 billion (~EUR 2.19 billion), ABC.AZ reports citing the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy. This result is 18.4% more than in the same period in 2021.

For 10 months of this year, AZN 2.4 billion were received from non-budgetary organizations, which is 19.7% more y-o-y. Unemployment insurance premiums amounted to AZN 128.4 million (+19.6%), premiums from non-budgetary organizations increased by 19.9% to AZN 95.3 million.

Premiums received from compulsory health insurance increased by 39.4% to AZN 662 million, including those from non-budgetary organizations increased by 50.7% to AZN 461.1 million, the source writes.
