Gunay Sigorta has expanded its product line of online insurance services, based on the authorities requirements and recommendations to prevent the spread of the coronavirus infection, Trend reports citing the insurer.

As of now, the company made the following services available on its website: MTPL, Motor Hull, property and travel insurance. Customers can purchase policies, calculate and pay insurance premiums, print insurance contracts entirely through digital channels, without visiting the insurer's offices.

Gunay Sigorta started to operate in 1992 and for about 20 years has been collaborating with one of Turkey's largest insurers, Anadolu Sigorta. The authorized capital of the company is AZN 7.7 million (~USD 4.5 million) and it's licensed to provide insurance services under 19 types of voluntary insurance and 4 types of compulsory insurance. In terms of GWP generated during January 2020, Gunay Sigorta ranked 15^th among 22 Azerbaijani insurance companies.
