The Bulgarian insurance broker SDI becomes part of the American fintech company Acrisure. The transaction is expected to be finalized by the end of September.

The deal with SDI is carried out through the Polish subsidiary of Acrisure - Unilink S.A., which develops the group's business in Central and Eastern Europe.

In January 2021, Unilink became the majority owner of I&G Insurance Brokers - one of the largest insurance brokers in Bulgaria.

U.S.-based insurance broker Acrisure LLC announced its acquisition of Unilink Group, the largest insurance distribution platform in the Central and Eastern European (CEE) region I nMay 2023.

Through this partnership, Acrisure adds over 1,300 colleagues across Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Moldova and clients in the same geography.
