American insurer Chartis froze its plans for AZERBAIJAN due to manat devaluation

American insurance company Chartis has changed its plans with regard to its business in Azerbaijan.

According to informed sources, earlier company shareholders considered the possibility to sell its business in Azerbaijan.

"Chartis Azerbaijan had already decided on this and was preparing to sign a contract on sale of its business but situation with the national currency of Azerbaijan has changed their plans and now the shareholders take a wait-and-see attitude", - the source said.
