Azerbaijan: changes in the top-management of the Compulsory Insurers Bureau

Rashad AKHMEDOV is the new executive of the Azeri Compulsory Insurers Bureau (CIB), replacing Fariz AZIZOV, according to the Bureau's official report. Rashad AKHMEDOV officially assumed his duties from June 1, according to the report.

The Compulsory Insurance Bureau was registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Azerbaijan Republic on November 29, 2011. As of today, 16 insurance companies from the total 21 active local insurers are the participants of the Bureau. The participants offer such types of compulsory insurance as compulsory real property insurance, third party liability insurance of motor vehicles, third party liability insurance associated with the use of the real property and personal accident insurance of passengers.
