From June 1, 2023, car owners from Belarus won't be able to use Green Card international insurance policies when traveling to the European Union, Great Britain, and Switzerland, BELTA reports.

According to BELNEFTESTRAKH insurance company, from June 1, relations in the Green Card system with Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Hungary, Germany, Greece, Denmark, Ireland, Iceland, Spain, Italy, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Finland, France, Croatia, Czech Republic, Sweden, Estonia, Switzerland, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland will be terminated.

Green Card insurance contracts for trips to the indicated countries can only be concluded for a period up to May 31st. "From June 1, Belarusian car owners leaving Belarus will have to conclude a border insurance contract on the territory of the country they enter", experts say.
