Yuri KOPACH, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of ABZ (Association of Bulgarian Insurers) and Member of the Management Board and Executive Director of Generali Zastrahovane was awarded the national prize "For overall contribution to the development of Bulgarian insurance" of the Foundation "Prof. Dr. Veleslav GAVRIYSKI", ABZ said.

The award was presented by Konstantin VELEV, Chairman of the Management Board of ABZ and Executive Director of Armeec Insurance Company during the ceremony of awarding the Insurer of the Year, Pension Insurance Company of the Year and Insurance Broker of the Year awards for 2021.

According to the Association, since 2015 Yuri KOPACH has been a member of the Management Board and Executive Director of Generali Zastrahovane. Over the last 20 years he has contributed expertly, professionally, and managerially to the development of a number of Bulgarian insurance companies, including DZI and ZAD Victoria and Generali Zastrahovane. He has made a significant contribution in the field of motor insurance and national MTPL system.

"In 1997 I made my first steps in insurance, that I recognized as my vocation. Since then, I work with pleasure and great enthusiasm. I succeeded together with colleagues to change the attitude towards insurance, because our goal has always been to enable people to form a safer future for themselves and their families by taking care of their lives and dreams. This is the thing that motivates me every day. That is why I am extremely proud that at the ceremony "Insurer of the Year 2022" I received the great recognition - For overall contribution to the development of Bulgarian insurance", Yuri KOPACH emphasized.
