Since May 1 2022, Blanca BERRUGUETE took over the role Global Industry Solution Director for Construction at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS). She joins AGCS from Zurich Insurance, and will be based in Madrid, reporting to Global Head of Distribution Jeremy SHARPE.

Blanca BERRUGUETE becomes the third Global Industry Solution Director joining Paul SCHIAVONE, Global Industry Solution Director for Financial Services, and Jody Yee, Global Industry Solutions Director for Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT).

Most recently Blanca BERRUGUETE was Construction Line Manager and Global Relationship Leader in the Commercial Lines division of Zurich Insurance Ltd. in Spain, where she focused on construction business and leading the team of underwriters for Corporate & Mid-Market clients and brokers.

BERRUGUETE brings more than 20 years of insurance experience and has had several leadership roles in broking and underwriting both in London and Madrid. Prior to joining AGCS, she worked for Generali, Lloyd?s of London, AIG and Zurich.
