The Agency for Insurance Supervision of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina was accepted as a member of the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS), which is a voluntary membership organization of insurance supervisors and regulators from more than 200 jurisdictions, constituting 97% of the world’s insurance premiums.

The agency’s participation in the work of the IAIS will enable timely knowledge of the possibilities related to overcoming potential risks to the stability of the insurance market in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The agency noted that IAIS plays an active role in identifying and monitoring development trends and challenges that could reshape the insurance business, membership in this association will enable obtaining information on current and potential challenges facing the insurance sector of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Agency.
