Federation of Insurance Companies in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) elected as new President Mr. Brinia JARCEVIC, CEO, BRCKO-GAS Insurance, the local press reads.

Brinio JARCEVIC pointed out insurers' contribution to the financial sector's restructuring in BiH, as well as the progress already made thanks to the cooperation of the market bodies, as the insurers' association and the supervisory agency. "These positive moves will continue in the coming period during my mandate, more precisely in the next year. I will give maximum contribution to the association when it comes to continuing the arrangement of the insurance market, signed by the Memorandum and the intentions of the Insurance Supervisory Agency," JARCEVIC said.

The Association of FBiH Insurers has 18 members: 17 insurers and a reinsurance company operating on the territory of the Federation BiH. Out of a total, 11 insurers are headquartered in FBiH, five in Republika Srpska and one in the Brcko District.
