CROATIA Osiguranje increased profit by 5.2 % in 3Q2013
croatia_osiguranje1During the first nine months of the year 2013, CROATIA Osiguranje made a gross profit of HRK 106.7 million (EUR 14 million), representing an increase of 5.2% compared to the same period of the previous year, according to the press release published by the insurer on The Zagreb Stock Exchange web-site.

At the same time, together with the health insurer - CROATIA Zdravstveno Osiguranje - the share of the company on Croatian insurance market amounted to 32% by the end of September.

CROATIA Osiguranje realized the total written premium amounting to HRK 2.11 billion (EUR 277 million) during the first three quarters of the year 2013. The total non-life insurance premium decreased by 3.8% while the life insurance premium increased by 0.2% compared to the same period of the previous year.

By the end of September, CROATIA Osiguranje Group, consisting of 13 daughter companies, realized net profit amounting to HRK 66.4 million (EUR 8.7 million), while the group GWP totaled HRK 2.5 billion (almost EUR 330 million). The gross written premium of the non-life insurance amounted to HRK 2.21 billion (1.7% more y-o-y) while the life insurance GWP amounted to HRK 288.2 million (2.7% more y-o-y).
