CROATIAN insurance market decreased by 2.7% in Q1 2014

croatia-statisticsAccording to the preliminary data published by the Croatian Insurance Bureau, in the first three months of the current year, the insurance market totaled HRK 2.45 billion (about EUR 320 million), 2.7% lower than in the 1Q2013.

On insurance classes, the non-life segment registered a 5.9% decrease y-o-y to HRK 1.79 billion (EUR 233 million), while the life insurance segment generated a business volume of HRK 661 million (~EUR 86 million), up by 7% compared to 1Q2013.
