CertAsig officially launched the office in Bulgaria

certasig_150_nou1CertAsig has announced the official launch o its office in Sofia, the Bulgarian capital, on the 25th of September. The Romanian insurer owned by ROYALTON Capital Investors II, an investment fund backed by financial institutions like ALPHA Associates, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, is targeting niche products like liabilities, guarantees, and commercial property.

The company is planning to work towards the corporate segment, working exclusively through insurance brokers.

"This is a new and ambitious project in which we hold great confidence. With the office in Sofia, led by an experienced professional, we are sure that we will consolidate our presence on the local market. It is a natural step towards further developing in the Black Sea region", said James GRINDLEY, CEO and President of the Board of CertAsig.

Initially, the company has insured large events in Bulgaria, like the official opening of the business center near Sofia Airport and the "Spirit of Burgas" Festival. Last year, the company has also opened an office in Istanbul.
