Cost of compulsory health insurance policy for foreign citizens and stateless persons residing in KYRGYZSTAN is approved

Cost of compulsory health insurance policy for foreign citizens and stateless persons residing in Kyrgyzstan is approved, the press service of the Compulsory Health Insurance Fund (HIF) reports.

According to it, the agency has made calculations, the cost of the policy is approved in the amount of 1,012 soms per month and 12,149 soms a year. Cost is agreed with the State Agency of antimonopoly regulation of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Currently HIF is deciding on the organization of compulsory health insurance through the mandatory implementation of compulsory health insurance policy for foreign citizens and stateless persons, depending on the length of stay in the Kyrgyz Republic.

Compulsory health insurance policy - document that gives the right to receive medical services at government programs implemented in the system of compulsory health insurance and insurance status. Policy is issued for a limited duration (one year) for a fee and is declarative. Its introduction for foreign citizens and stateless persons will expand the coverage of the population by compulsory health insurance," the department noted. Read the full story
