FIAR - the International Insurance-Reinsurance Forum 2012 opened officially last evening with a Reception offered by UNIQA Asigurari and PIRAEUS Insurance Broker. The official opening came with a special awarding ceremony for the best performing reinsurance and reinsurance mediation companies, intended to reward the companies that contributed greatly to the growth of the insurance markets in Central and Eastern Europe.

The winners of the evening were:

The evening continued with an event that is already familiar to all FAIR participants - the AFTERHOURS Cocktail, offered again this year by CREDIT EUROPE Asigurari and EUROTAXGLASS`s.

On Tuesday, the working agenda of the FIAR2012 participants will include two conferences and a specialized seminar, as well as numerous bilateral meetings. More specifically, we are talking about the International Markets Conference, the Motor Insurance Day and the Workshop on Cat Risks. Today's coffee breaks and lunch will be offered by MILLI Re, a traditional FIAR partner representing the Turkish re/insurance market.
