Again this year, Generali was included as "Gold Class" in the .trust Italia ranking by Lundquist, which provides content strategy and corporate communication services and whose research analyses companies' ability to generate trust in all stakeholders and support business through digital communication.
The Group stood out in the "Narrators" category thanks to its ability to communicate its role and vision for the future in a concrete way while producing engaging editorial content. In addition, Generali demonstrated its ability to combine rational and emotional elements and make balanced use of its digital communication channels - website and social media.
Another reason for attention from Lundquist was the integrated and overarching approach through which Generali's corporate communication addresses sustainability and climate change issues. The existence of a strategy supported by concrete objectives and linked to the company's purpose was also assessed.
Finally, Generali was recognized for its ability to present its projects and content in an accessible and effective way, leveraging a combination of customized languages and different formats: from texts to images (with galleries and infographics), from videos to podcasts.
The survey thus focused on the existence of a strategic narrative that combines vision, sustainability commitments, investment in innovation, leadership on key issues and the ability to attract and engage talent. All areas in which Generali, which this year was tested through even more challenging evaluation criteria, was rated among the best-in-class.
In the 2023 edition, 200 companies were analyzed before selecting and assessing 49 public and private Italian companies that over the years have demonstrated a strong commitment in ensuring the transparency of their communication activities.
