Global re/insurance broker AON informed its total revenue in the first quarter increased 5% to USD 4.07 billion compared to the prior year period, while total operating expenses in Q1 2024 increased 9% y-o-y to USD 2.6 billion.

By divisions, Commercial Risk Solutions generated revenue worth USD 1.81 billion, up by 2% y-o-y, while Reinsurance Solutions posted revenue worth USD 1.17 billion, up by 8% y-o-y. Health Solutions revenue totaled USD 733 million (+9% y-o-y) while Wealth Solutions generated Q1 2024 revenue of USD 370 million (+6%).

In terms of expenses, of USD 2.60 billion, more than USD 1.88 billion was accounted by compensation and benefits, followed by other general expense (USD 348 million) and information technology (USD 124 million).
