The average MTPL yearly premium reached EUR 138 (HUF 52,500) in Q3, in Hungary, 12% more y-o-y, the Budapest Business Journal wrote quoting data from the National Bank of Hungary (MNB).

Motorists in Budapest paid higher premiums, with the average yearly fee coming to ~EUR 197 (HUF 75,000).

The average premium for individual policies covering cars used as taxis rose 11% to HUF 146,900, while the premium for trucks rose 10% to HUF 92,100. The average premium for fleet passenger cars increased by 19% to HUF 75,900.
