IIF 2017: Re/insurance professionals from 23 countries to discuss the critical issues in the motor insurance field

Over 80 re/insurance professionals from 23 countries have already registered for the 2017 edition of the International Insurance Forum, "New challenges for the CEE motor insurance industry", to take place in Vienna, on February 15th.

The three sessions of the conference will touch the most important factors affecting motor insurance profitability: regulation, pricing and claims. Digitalization - definitely the most important industry disrupting trend in the current context will also make the object of a dedicated section.

To introduce the digitalization topic in a comprehensive view Chris HALLIDAY, WILLIS Towers Watson (UK) and Tadej COROLI, Zavarovalnica TRIGLAV (Slovenia) will talk about which are the current factors identified as industry disruptors and what is to expect in the near future from their evolution, taking a closer look to digitalization and its impact in the insurance business and consumers. Alberto MACIAN, Assicurazioni GENERALI (Italy) will address the same issues from the perspective of a major player in the European insurance landscape, also looking closer to the trends developed in the CEE region.

As far as the actual digital technologies are concerned, the most relevant novelties will be delivered by Dominik LORENZ, NTT DATA (Germany), Dante CAFARELLI, IBM Italia and Clelio RUSCITTI, OCTO Telematics (Italy).

Richard NATHSCHLAEGER, Managing Director, AUDATEX (Austria), Michael THEILMEIER, GDV, Chairman of Committee for CEE, GEN Re (Germany) and Cees WERFF, President & CEO, CLAIMS Corporation Network (Netherlands) will lead the conference's debates, chairing the event's sections.

IIF 2017 - New challenges for the CEE motor insurance industry is supported by IIS - the International Insurance Society. RECREX is the event's Strategic Partner, while FRISS, EUROINS and NTT Data are supporting the conference as partners.
