If P&C Insurance posts EUR 5.6 million in consolidated profit in BALTICS in H1

Insurance company If P&C Insurance branches in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania achieved EUR 5.6 million (LVL 3.94 million) in consolidated profit in the first half of 2013, reported LETA/Nozare.lv.

In the respective period in 2012, If P&C Insurance earned EUR 12.4 million (LVL 8.71 million) in profit in the Baltic States.

If P&C Insurance collected EUR 61.4 million (LVL 43.2 million) in gross premiums in the first half of 2013, compared to EUR 61.1 million (LVL 42.9 million) in the same period in 2012, the company informed Nozare.lv.

If P&C Insurance Latvian branch If Apdrosinasana collected LVL 10 million in gross premiums in the first six months of 2013, similarly to the first six months of 2012.

If P&C Insurance paid EUR 32.1 million (LVL 22.6 million) in insurance claims in the Baltic States in the first half of 2013, compared to EUR 28.4 million (LVL 20 million) in the first half of 2012.

If Apdrosinasana paid LVL 5.6 million in insurance claims in the first six months of 2013, compared to LVL 4.6 million in the first six months of 2012.

The total number of If P&C Insurance clients increased 1.7 percent - from 363,000 to 370,000.
