If earns EUR 5.2 mln in Q1 in Baltics

The total profit of the Estonian insurance company If P&C Insurance AS, and its subsidiaries in Latvia and Lithuania, amounted to EUR 5.2 million in the first quarter of 2015, reports LETA, according to If P&C Insurance AS.

In the respective period of 2014, the company earned EUR 5.3 million.
 
The total amount of gross premiums written on the Baltic market reached EUR 35.5 million in the first three months of 2015 (EUR 34.8 million - in the respective period of 2014).

The amount of gross premiums written by If P&C Insurance AS Latvian subsidiaries (If Apdrosinasana) reached EUR 8.9 million in the first quarter of 2015 (EUR 9.4 million - in the first quarter of 2014).

If P&C Insurance AS combined index in the Baltics was 84.3% in the first three months of 2015 (previously - 83.3%). Meanwhile, the company's loss index was 57.5% (previously - 56.8%), but cost index - 26.8% (previously - 26.6%).
