Dutch insurer Aegon informed that Jan Willem Weidema, Head of Investor Relations, has decided to leave the company as per July 1, 2023. "Following Capital Markets Day on June 22, 2023, he will take an extended sabbatical to travel Europe with his family".

Jan Willem has worked for Aegon since 2013, of which the last five years as Head of Investor Relations. He started his career in Investment Banking and equity research at Fortis and ABN AMRO after graduating in both Economics and Law.

The company's representatives pointed out that the process to appoint a new Head of Investor Relations has been initiated and an update will follow in due course.
