Online claim settlement for all compulsory types of insurance and a simplified procedure for receiving insurance payments in MTPL (European Accident Statement) will be introduced in 2024, and will make the insurance process simpler and more transparent, Allinsurance.kz writes with reference to the Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market.

It is noted that the European Accident Statement will significantly simplify the process and shorten the period for receiving compensation. As of today, compensation payment, on average, takes 92 days, while the European Accident Statement will allow victims to receive money within 6 working days, including 3 days for damage assessment.

The use of digital technologies will make it possible to optimize and automate all insurance business processes, which will ultimately increase coverage of the population with insurance services in the regions, improve availability and quality of insurance services for the population and businesses, and will significantly reduce the number of litigations, the report says.
