The leader of the Kazakh insurance sector, EURASIA, is planning to create a new life insurer, according to the business information center Kapital.kz.

As the National Bank of Kazakhstan informed, on October 29, 2018 EURASIA received an official permit to create a life insurance company.

EURASIA is the market leader in terms of GWP and has been performing insurance activity since 1995. Besides the insurer keeps the 1^st place in terms of assets (KZT 245.6 billion as of the end of September), the insurer's equity reached KZT 144.4 billion, and the profit of EURASIA for January-September 2018 amounted to KZT 35.8 billion. At the moment the Kazakh insurance market is represented by 7 life insurers.
