KYRGYZSTAN: insurers concluded 68,063 compulsory insurance contracts in the first 3Q of 2022

For the period from January to September 2022, insurance companies of Kyrgyzstan concluded 68,063 compulsory insurance contracts in the amount of KGS 126.87 billion (~EUR 1.61 billion), akchabar.kg writes with reference to the materials of the National Statistical Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic.

According to the committee, most contracts were concluded in real estate insurance - 58,561 for KGS 34.15 billion. At the same time, the amount in civil liability was almost three times as much - KGS 92.72 billion.

Total number of civil liability contracts was 9,502. Among them are employer liability contracts for causing harm to life and health of employees (266), carrier's liability to passengers (8,560), liability of carriers of dangerous cargos (395), as well as liability of organizations operating hazardous production facilities (281).
