Kaan GUNAY has been reassigned as the Assistant General Manager of ALLIANZ Turkey, Responsible for IT as of February 1, 2017, reporting to Tolga GURKAN, Assistant General Manager of ALLIANZ Turkey Responsible for Operations. Kaan GUNAY joined ALLIANZ Turkey in 2013 as IT Director, Turkish Insurance News informed.

Kaan GUNAY has put exemplary applications and big data infrastructure into practice as the sectorial leader in digitalization during the infrastructural integration process of ALLIANZ Insurance and YAPI KREDI Insurance merger.

In addition, he is still taking different responsibilities in the ALLIANZ Group as the Leader of Architectural and Technology Standards Group, Leader of the Southern and Eastern Europe Technology Managers Communication and Cooperation Working Group, and Member of the Global Senior Information Technologies Leaders.

Born in 1977 in Iskenderun, Kaan GUNAY has a Bachelor's degree from Marmara University German Informatics department and a Master's degree from Baltimore University Management Information Systems. Having started his career in Wincor Nixdorf as a product specialist, , Kaan GUNAY worked under the Information Technologies and Security department of DELOITTE Turkey operating in finance and telecommunication sectors in 2005. He, then, continued working on IT and security risks being assigned to DELOITTE Canada.

He was assigned as the Director of ACCENTURE Technology Consultancy in 2010 and was reassigned as the Senior Director in 2011, Kaan GUNAY was then recruited by ALLIANZ Turkey in February 2013 for the position of Director Representative of IT and he had been acting as the Director of IT since 2014.
