Kazakhstan: The unique insurance market turns into reality
conferinta_allinsuranceAfter the three member states (Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan) founded the Customs Union in the Eurasian Economic Community, one necessity arose: to unify the legislation of these three countries also with regard to the insurance sector.

Thus, on June 4, 2012, an interstate insurers' union was created, under the name of the Eurasian Insurance Organizations Congress (EIOC). The Congress' main objective is the regulation of the insurance legislation and the unification of the insurance markets in the Eurasian Economic Community.

According to Sergey SARCHISOV, EIOC's President, "in the congress' first stage, we should reduce the requirements regarding the reinsurance companies' rating in order to set the base of a unique reinsurance market. Moreover, the cross-border problem of the MTPL insurance could be solved by creating a unique informational data base for the entire economic region and by adopting a legislation that will allow for a mutual recognition of the addendum."

All these aspects will be debated during the VII Edition of the International Conference "Insurance in Central Asia", which is already a tradition for the insurance and reinsurance leaders in Central Asia, CSI and CEE countries. The event is organized by INTERCONSULT Info and it will take place on April 11-12 in Alma-Ata, Kazakhstan. The XPRIMM Publications are among the conference's Media Partners.

Representatives of local and international insurance companies, reinsurers, brokers and IT companies, members of the supervision authorities and international associations will participate at this event.
