Krzysztof JABLONSKI appointed MD of VAN Ameyde CEE

krzysztof_jablonskiVAN Ameyde Central Eastern Europe, now a 100% subsidiary of the international claims management organisation VAN Ameyde Group, has appointed Krzysztof JABLONSKI (39) as its Managing Director.

He was already active for the VAN Ameyde Group in the region as Regional Business Development Director, operating from the Group's offices in Warsaw, Poland. His strategic approach towards and knowledge of the market combined with the VAN Ameyde Group's ambitions in the region have resulted in his appointment as from 1 September 2011.

Krzysztof JABLONSKI is known to the Romanian market from the 2011 Edition of FIAR - International Insurance - Reinsurance Forum, in which the VAN AMEYDE representative held a presentation on "Motor Insurance Day", the group being the Main Partner of the conference.

VAN AMEYDE started its activity in Romania in early 2010, through MAI Insurance-Reinsurance Broker. Moreover, the closest contact with the developed markets of Western Europe, where the claims management sector was widely used, has had and will continue to have an important contribution to the evolution of these services in Romania.

Thus, claims management companies bring to the market a vast international experience, and the ability to deal quickly and professionally with the cross-border claims of an insurer's clients.

The VAN Ameyde Group, recognising the opportunities in the area of claims management in Eastern Europe, intends to strengthen and expand its position as leading claims management service provider. In the region, the group already deals with motor - including Green Card under which it also represents Russian clients, bodily injury as well as property claims: it played a major part in the 2010 Polish flood claims. VAN Ameyde is also active in the areas of industrial and marine surveying and risk management consultancy services.

In 2010 the Van Ameyde Group, which boasts a network of offices throughout Europe, produced a turnover of EUR 62 million and a profit before tax of EUR 3.4 million.
