- Ingrida KIRSE, Member of the Board of ERGO Insurance SE Latvian Branch and ERGO Life Insurance SE Latvian Branch, was re-elected Chairman of the Council;
- Aigars FREIMANIS, Member of the Board of Seesam Insurance AS Latvian Branch, was re-elected as the Deputy Chairman of the Council;
- Jolanta JERANE, Chairman of the Board of AAS CBL Life, remains the Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board for life insurance;
The meeting participants also agreed on future priorities for LAA activities: improvement of industry legislation, changing of population accumulation habits, support of creation of financial security cushion, as well as improvement of property maintenance and construction process, emphasizing fire safety requirements.
LAA was founded in 1993 to represent interests of the Latvian insurance industry in order to support its development. The association has 16 members covering 99% of the Latvian market.
