These challenges can be conquered through prompt decisions, new technological solutions in the field of supervision, active cooperation with other supervisory bodies and participation in international initiatives. Our goal is to ensure the functioning of a sound financial market that is oriented towards the public interests."

The Supervision Service of the Bank of Lithuania is one of the largest structural units of the institution. The unit is made of two Departments - the Prudential Supervision Department and the Financial Services and Markets Supervision Department. Currently, the Supervision Service of the Bank of Lithuania employs roughly 150 people.
