The countdown has begun for the 27th edition of FIAR 2026 – the International Insurance-Reinsurance Forum, taking place on 24–26 May 2026 in Sinaia, Romania.

Recognized as one of the most important insurance market events in Central and Eastern Europe, FIAR 2026 will bring together insurance and reinsurance professionals, regulators, brokers, consultants, claims specialists and technology providers for three days of high-level debates, networking and business opportunities.

This year’s agenda of the Insurance Market Trends Conference will address some of the industry’s most pressing topics, including market resilience, NatCat protection gaps, claims transformation, regulatory developments, digital innovation and the impact of emerging technologies on the future of insurance.

A special focus will also be placed on two dedicated events within FIAR 2026: the Claims Insurance Conference and the Insurance Distribution Conference. The Claims Insurance Conference will explore how innovation, technology and forward-looking regulation are reshaping claims management and customer experience, while the Distribution Conference will address the evolving role of intermediaries, changing consumer expectations and the impact of digital transformation on insurance distribution models.
