Lloyd's Insurance Company S.A. (LIC) has announced leadership appointments for its UK branch. Mark COOPER has been appointed as Head of LIC UK branch effective 1 November, subject to regulatory approvals.

Mark COOPER will retain his current position as Head of European Branches and Chief Market Development Officer for LIC. Mark COOPER replaces Keith STERN who has been the LIC UK Branch Manager since its establishment in 2018. Keith STERN will continue to focus on his role as Regional Manager for UK and Ireland.

In addition to Mark COOPER will, David JACKSON is appointed as Senior Underwriting Manager, LIC UK branch; and Kirstie KEATE is appointed as Underwriting Manager, LIC UK branch. Both positions are effective 6 December 2021.

The LIC UK branch was set up in 2018 and carries out regulated activities in the UK under Temporary Regime Permission. LIC expects to complete the application for full authorization by Q2, 2022.
