Gokhan AKTAS holds a degree in Public Administration from the Faculty of Economics at Istanbul University and a master's degree in Marketing from the Faculty of Business Administration at Yeditepe University.
Before joining MILLI Re Gokhan AKTAS participated in a combined seminar and trainee programmes abroad. He started his business career as a Treaty Underwriter at MILLI Re's Local Treaty Acceptances in 2001 when he completed his education at Turkish Insurance Institute with a degree in Marine Insurance.
After MILLI Re decided to open up to the international markets, he moved to Foreign Inward Department in 2006 where he is heading the team now.
Gokhan AKTAS has participated in a number of seminars on reinsurance and ART (Alternative Risk Transfer), has written articles for magazines related with the insurance and reinsurance and has given papers on various seminars.
