Global re/insurance broker MMC posted Q3 2021 aggregate revenue of USD 4.6 billion, an increase of 16% compared with the third quarter of 2020. Q3 operating income was USD 740 million, an increase of 37% from the prior year while net income attributable to the Company was USD 537 million, or USD 1.05 per diluted share, compared with USD 0.62 in the third quarter of 2020.

For the nine months ended September 30, 2021, MMC reported consolidated revenue of USD 14.7 billion, an increase of 15%, while operating income was USD 3.3 billion, an increase of 33% from the prior year period.

In Risk & Insurance Services MMC aggregate Q3 revenue was USD 2.7 billion (of which Marsh's revenue was USD 2.4 billion and Guy Carpenter's revenue was USD 314 million while operating income rose 21% to USD 403 million. For the nine months ended September 30, 2021, Risk & Insurance Services revenue was USD 9.0 billion, an increase of 16% while 9 months operating income rose 28% to USD 2.4 billion.

Q3 Consulting revenue was USD 1.9 billion (Mercer's revenue was USD 1.3 billion while Oliver Wyman's revenue was USD 610 million) - an increase of 13%, while operating income increased 45% to USD 404 million. For the first nine months of 2021, revenue was USD 5.7 billion, an increase of 12% while operating income of USD 1.1 billion increased by 36%.
