National Financial Market Commission (NCFM) has clarified for parties involved in third party liability insurance the latest changes regarding availability of a Green Card policy for vehicles registered in Ukraine, CapitalMarket reports.

In connection with the military conflict in Ukraine, NCFM informed that foreign citizens entering the Republic of Moldova on vehicles registered in Ukraine and not having a Green Card insurance certificate, within 24 hours must conclude an internal compulsory motor liability insurance contract issued by licensed insurers in the Republic of Moldova.

NCFM calls on the entire insurers' community to show solidarity and understanding in order to provide necessary information and support to Ukrainian citizens who are forced to leave their country.
