Non-life segment totalled EUR 109.3 million in January-November, up from EUR 99.8 million in the like period of 2024, while life insurance segment increased to EUR 26.5 million from EUR 24.3 million in the period under review, as ANO said.
Lovcen Osiguranje held the biggest share - 34.9% in the non-life segment in January-November, followed by Sava Osiguranje with 22%, Uniqa Nezivotno Osiguranje with 20.1%, Generali Osiguranje Montenegro with 13% and Grawe Nezivotno Osiguranje with 10%.
On the life insurance side, Wiener Stadtische Zivotno Osiguranje held the biggest share of 45.4%, followed by Lovcen Zivotna Osiguranja with 25.6%, Grawe Osiguranje with 23.6% and Uniqa Zivotno Osiguranje with 5.3%.
At the end of November 2025, nine insurance companies operated in Montenegro, including five active in the non-life and four active in the life insurance segment, the source added.
