Organized by the National Insurance Bureau of Montenegro (NBOCG), the III Montenegrin Insurance Days, a conference called “Insurance continuously seeks new knowledge”, brought together more than 120 registered participants, including leading insurance experts from Montenegro, the region and Europe, the Bureau said.

“During 2024, a record number of 89.8 thousand claims were paid, with a total value of EUR 60 million. At the end of last year, insurance companies reported an investment of EUR 211.3 million in government bonds, which accounts for 62.9% of their assets, confirming the key role of the insurance industry as a significant social investor”, said Marko Ivanović, the President of the Council of the Insurance Supervisory Agency of Montenegro presenting a detailed overview of the Montenegrin insurance market and highlighting continuous growth of the sector.

The key panel on the first day of the conference was dedicated to the topic “How to attract talent in insurance”, where CEOs of leading insurance companies discussed ways to attract and retain young professionals in the industry.

The III Montenegrin Insurance Days once again confirmed its leading role as the most important event in the insurance industry, providing an opportunity for open dialogue, exchange of knowledge and improvement of business practices, with the aim of further developing the Montenegrin market.
