MONTENEGRO: the total assets of Lovcen Osiguranje rose to EUR 82 million in 2024

The net consolidated profit of the Montenegro's top insurer Lovcen Osiguranje, part of Slovenia's Triglav Group, rose to EUR 3.96 million in 2024 from EUR 2.83 million a year earlier, SeeNews reports.

Operating revenue increased to EUR 35.7 million from EUR 33.1 million in 2023. At that premium income was up to EUR 33.9 million from EUR 30.6 million, according to Lovcen Osiguranje’s consolidated financial statement for 2024.

Operating expenses increased to EUR 22.2 million in 2024 from EUR 20.3 million in the year before. As a result, the gross operating profit rose to EUR 13.6 million from EUR 12.8 million.

The company's total assets increased to EUR 82 million at the end of December from EUR 73 million at the end of 2023.

Lovcen was the largest insurer in terms of GWP among nine active insurance companies in Montenegro at the end of last year, according to data from the country's insurance supervision agency ANO.
