Marek Niechciuk from February on the board of UFG

The Polish Insurance Guarantee Fund Council appointed Marek Niechcial as a member of the management board of UFG.

In relation to this, Marek Niechciuk has submitted his resignation from the current function of the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection, which was accepted by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. Pursuant to the provisions of the Act on competition and consumer protection, Marek Niechalu will be the President of the OCCP until his successor is appointed. After the termination of the office of the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection, he will take up a position in UFG, starting February 1, 2020.

Marek Niechciuk, from 2016 the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection, previously worked, among others at the National Bank of Poland and the insurance supervision authority. On the board of UFG, he will be responsible for the implementation of warranty functions for both the insurance and tourist sectors.
