Global insurance broker Marsh announced that Craig SCHIOPPO, Transactional Risk Practice Leader, US and Canada has, in addition, been appointed Global Head of Transactional Risk, Marsh Specialty, effective immediately.

In this newly created position, Craig SCHIOPPO will oversee a global team of specialists responsible for the delivery of transactional risk insurance solutions, including representations and warranties insurance, to private equity and strategic investor clients engaged in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) around the world.

"Mr. SCHIOPPO brings 25 years of M&A experience to the role having worked as an accountant, lawyer, and insurance broker throughout his career".

He joined Marsh's Private Equity and M&A (PEMA) Practice in 2003 and was named to his US & Canada leadership position in 2010.

Based in New York, Craig SCHIOPPO will report to Lucy CLARKE, interim Global Specialty Head, PEMA.
